Below is a list of FAQ's regarding the HomeVisit & WDC/Prism Partnership.
- Q: Do I need to register for an account with HomeVisit?
A: No. When accessing HomeVisit through your Weichert Design Center account, a HomeVisit account will automatically be created for you. - Q: Are my HomeVisit login credentials the same as my Weichert Design Center login credentials?
A: No. Once you've accessed HomeVisit through your Weichert Design Center account, you will need to click "Set HV Login" to set a username and password to access the HomeVisit website. IF you decide to make your username and password the same as your Weichert Design Center account, then yes, they would be the same. However, it is not automatically set up that way. - Q: How do I place an order?
A: Login to Weichert Design Center. See full tutorial HERE. - Q: How do I schedule my services?
A: If you place your order on your own, once you complete payment, you'll see a scheduling request form. Simply fill it out with your requested dates & times and we will do our best to schedule based on your first preference. See full tutorial HERE. If you call in to place an order, we will schedule with you over the phone. - Q: What happens if it rains or snows on the day of my photo shoot?
A: HomeVisit shoots rain or shine due to tight deadlines our clients often need to meet. If the weather is inclement on the day of your services, you have several options. First, you can reschedule the shoot for another day. As long as you request the reschedule two hours before the scheduled shoot time, there will be no cancellation fee. If you request to reschedule within 2 hours of the scheduled shoot time, there is a $35 cancellation fee. Second, if you only want to shoot interiors, we can do that, but there will be an additional $50-$85 charge for a photographer to come back on another day to take exteriors. Lastly, if you want to keep the appointment on a day with inclement weather, we can photoshop blue skies & green grass at $20 per image. Two photo edits are automatically included in your package, however, additional photo edits are $20 per image. - Q: How long will it take for my services to be ready?
A: Photography will be available within 24 hours. 3D will be available within 24 hours. ClearView images will be available within 24-48 business hours. Floor Plans will be available within 48 business hours. - Q: How do I access my photos once they're ready?
A: Login to your Weichert Design Center account and find the property to get started. See full tutorial HERE. - Q: How do I download my photos?
A: Click HERE to learn how to download your images. - Q: Will my Virtual Tour be automatically configured for me?
A: Yes. We are currently setting up virtual tours for agents. However, if you would like to edit your existing tour, you can do so by watching this tutorial HERE. - Q: Will my Floor Plan Tour be automatically configured for me?
A: Yes. You will receive an email with your floor plans. They will also be automatically uploaded and configured for you. Should you want to make changes to the floor plan tour, click HERE to learn how. - Q: How do I make corrections to the floor plan drawings?
A: If you need to make any changes to the floor plan drawings, please email the changes to service@homevisit.com. We will have the changes made within 24 hours.
- Q: Can I add floor plans on after my 3D scan has been completed?
A: Yes. You can add floor plans to your listing at any time. - Q: How do I enter information into the Property Website?
A: You can enter the property details from the Manage Listings page. Click HERE for a full tutorial. If you prefer not to enter all the listing details, you can forward the listing to service@homevisit.com so that we can enter in the information for you. - Q: How do I link my Tour or Property Website to the MLS?
A: Navigate to the Virtual Tours section of the property and click the VIEW LINKS option. All NJ MLS systems require a UNBRANDED version of the tour and/or property website. Please copy the unbranded link and paste it into your appropriate MLS section. Click HERE for how to access your links.
***Please note: If you are linking to Garden State MLS, you can only use the GARDEN STATE MLS UNBRANDED link, otherwise, they will not accept it. - Q: Will my HomeVisit photos be available to me, so that I can configure my printed material?
A: Yes. As soon as your images are posted, you can access them in the Weichert Design Center to begin configuring your print. - Q: How do I place an order for printed material and begin configuring my print?
