Frequently Asked ePrint Questions
Q: I don’t see the layout I want after I select my print piece.
A: The Print Piece Selector screen just shows the general template (horizontal, vertical, luxury, standard.) Layouts can be changed once you are inside the document editor.
Q: How can I add a second agent?
A: Additional listing agents must be added to the listing prior to starting a print piece. If a piece has been started prior to adding additional agents, the piece will need to be started over. (During testing, HomeVisit can manually change this over after the piece has been made. Please note this need in the notes box when Submitting to HV for Review)
Q: Can I add more photos/a logo/more text blocks?
A: All approved layout options are fixed and will be within the “Change Page Layout” options.
Q: How do I change layouts?
A: If there are alternate layouts available, there is a blue “Change Page Layout” button in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Q: When I right click inside the text editor, I don’t have any options to paste.
A: Right-click directly on the blinking cursor.
Q: Nothing happens when I click “Paste”
A: Copy your text from the source, right click on top of the blinking cursor and select “Paste and Match Style” / “Paste without Formatting” instead of "Paste" - We are actively working on better compatibility with different word processor programs. Google Docs is currently the easiest and most consistent to use.
Q: When I try to make Sub-Bullets and tab them over, my text disappears.
A: A workaround you can try is to add a Soft Return (shift+enter) after your main bullet to move your Sub-Bullet text to the next line. You can then add several spaces and a Hyphen (-) to create your Sub-Bullet. Otherwise, leave your bullet section as is with all bullets at the same level and Submit to HV a note that specifies which bullets need to be made Sub-Bullets. During testing, this can be done by HV staff.
Q: What do all of the Text Editor buttons do?
Q: Why is my floor plan getting cut off?
A: During the testing phase, All photos are set to fill the space and remain the proper aspect ratio. We have added a checkbox labeled "Floor Plan Fit" - Check this box to refit your floor plan properly.
Q: My cropped photo is not on my contact sheet.
A: Cropping photos in ePrint only applies to that particular print piece. If you need a photo cropped, notify Customer Service or Production and they will copy the crop used on the print piece.
Q: How can I make a multi-property mailer?
A: During our testing phase, you will need to download all of the home front photos you would like to feature and upload them to 1 listings contact sheet to be able to access them for your mailer. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to have a record created in our system for your multi-property mailer.
Q: How do I show this to my seller/download PDF before submitting it to HV?
A: Click the PDF Proof button within the session to generate a PDF and click the download button once it is loaded.
Q: How do I approve?
A: Click Save & Continue. Select the first option “Submit to HV for review” and leave a note letting us know that it is approved, how many you'd like to print, and where you’d like them shipped
